Bob Kendall, age 89, of Cole Camp passed away Sunday, January 22nd, 2023 at his home.
It was on the 20th day in June 1933 that James and Mae (Brown) Kendall welcomed their son, Robert Eugene, into their home in Moberly.
He graduated Huntsville High School and proudly volunteered in The United States Army during the Korean War serving with the Military Police stationed in Germany and was honorably discharged in 1952.
Bob was the proud owner of the Stover Barber Shop for thirty-nine years. And will be fondly remembered as "Bob The Barber." Prior to that he owned and operated Barbershops in Higbee and Moberly, Missouri for over 20 years.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church for 23 years and an avid scholar of the Bible.
He pursued many interests, including raising and breeding Registered Quarter Horses, working as a Feedlot Cowboy in Kansas, earning Licenses in Barbering, Private Investigation and Lifeguarding. He became proficient in Taxidermy and worked as a Skilled Farrier. He was a serious fisherman, gardener and enjoyed spending time with his cutting horses.
Left to carry on Bob's legacy is his son, Craig Kendall wife Anne and his daughter, Rita Gayle Forbis all of Moberly; grandchildren Adam Wilcox, Katlyn Sullivan, Cassie Prentzler, and Travis Kendall; numerous great grandchildren; a sister, Genevia McAllister of Florida.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son James "Jim" Kendall, a grandson, Mark Schmoker, and a brother, Bill Kendall.
Funeral Services will be held on 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4th at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stover, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of the service on Saturday.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
