Billy Junior Shane

Billy Junior Shane, 75, of California, Missouri passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Moniteau Care Center in California. He was one of 6 children born to William Albert and Georgia Juanita Shane of Syracuse, Missouri.

Billy worked in commercial construction before he was severely injured while on the job. He enjoyed playing pool and later playing cards.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Tina Shane; infant daughter Tammy Shane; brother Robert Shane and sister Dorothy Lewis.

Billy is survived by his son Mark Shane of Versailles; step-daughter Wanda Hannon of Versailles; brother Jimmie Shane and his wife Donna of Clarksburg; sisters Esther Schmidt and her husband Carl of Wellsville, Shirley Hughes and her husband Chris of Centertown; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Tipton. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM prior to the service on Tuesday.
