Billy Dean Bell

Billy Dean Bell, 82 of Waterloo, IA and a former resident of Sedalia, Missouri. He departed this mortal life for the everlasting life on Tuesday, July 21, 2021, at Ravenwood Nursing Home in Waterloo, IA.

Billy was born October 3, 1938, in Otterville, Missouri. He was the son of Daniel and Lena Finley-Bell. He grew up in Otterville, Missouri, and graduated from Hubbard High School. He then joined the Army. Billy was united in marriage to Julia L. Bishop on January 1, 1968, in Sedalia, MO. Two children were born from his union. He then remarried Patricia Main on May 7, 1988. Two children were born from this union.

He worked at Alcan Aluminum, Corp. as a supervisor for many years where he retired. He was a person if you met him, he would become your friend with his friendly personality and great humor. He was an avid car lover. He loved working on cars, going to car shows and even had a small car collection.

Billy leaves to cherish his loving memory his sister; Dollie Veal, Kansas City, MO, his children: Valerie Bell, Denver, CO, Scott Bell, Denver CO, Jonathan Bell Lamonte, MO Daniel (Breanna) Bell, Lamonte, MO, and DEVOTED cousin whom he lived with Lucy (Finley) Ellis Porter' along with six grandchildren, 3 nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Michael Bell, niece Phyllis (Veal) Knox.
