Bill Charles Enloe

Bill Charles Enloe, age 79, of Jefferson City, passed away unexpectedly Thursday night, September 27, 2007, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
He was born August 25, 1928, in Russellville, a son of Freeman and Irene Remley Enloe. On May 27, 1951, he married Jerene Jungmeyer, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Russellville, and she survives at their home.
He was a 1947 graduate of Jefferson City High School. He was a Navy veteran, serving his country in the Korean War.
Bill worked for the Missouri Department of Conservation Commission. He owned and operated transport and delivery trucks, leasing to Kaw Transport and driving for Midland Oil Company. He most recently stayed busy as a driver for Mike Kehoe Ford in Jefferson City.
He was a past member of the Belle Lions Club and Masonic Lodge. Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working in his rose garden. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife of 56 years, he is survived by two children, Steven Enloe and wife Sigrid and Lori Eggen and husband Jim, all of Jefferson City; two brothers, Dr. Marvin Enloe and wife Jane of St. Peters, Missouri and Dr. Garold Enloe and wife Tricia of Seattle, Washington; five grandchildren, Vanessa Beauchamp and husband Lonnie; Candice Schaefer and husband Joe, Adrienne Enloe, Kristen Eggen and Kyle Eggen, three great grandchildren, Olivia and Adalynn Beauchamp and Roch Schaefer, special friends, Estelle Enloe and Byron Richardson, also nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Joyce Enloe.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 1, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville with Rev. Anselm Keith Williams officiating. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Enloe Cemetery west of Russellville.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Sunday, September 30, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Wesley United Methodist Church at 2727 Wesley St., Jefferson City, MO, 65109, the University of Missouri Division of Urology Research Fund, One Hospital Drive, Suite M562, Columbia, MO 65202, or the charity of the donor's choice.
