Betty Irene (Shean) Nau

Betty Irene “Momo” Nau, of Tipton, formerly of Otterville, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Tipton Oak Manor.

She was born November 26, 1926, in Minneola, KS, the daughter of Pete and Harriet L. (Hilderbran) Shean, who preceded her in death.

On April 18, 1944, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Windhorst, KS, she married Carl Henry "Popo" Nau, who preceded her in death on December 21, 2010.

Betty was a faithful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the Catholic Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Carlene Petree (Larry) of Tipton, MO; two sons, Larry Nau (Cheri) of Oak Grove, MO and Kevin Nau of Stover; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 11 great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Pat Kramer; a son, Steve Nau; and 9 siblings.

Visiting hours will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Friday, January 14, 2022, at Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Tipton, MO. The family will not be present due to COVID concerns. Cards of condolence may be left at the funeral home.

A private burial will take place at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Otterville.
