Betty Heather, age 84, of Belton, Missouri passed away Monday, February 12th, 2024 at the Carnegie Village Rehab and Healthcare Center.
It was on the 18th day of June in 1939 when Carl and Irene (Hunt) Floyd welcomed their daughter, Betty Sue, into their home in Benton Harbor, Michigan.
Betty moved to Missouri to go to nursing school. While becoming an RN she met Bill Heather. The two were married and spent their lives together.
She loved playing the piano and organ at several local churches around Moniteau county. She also volunteered and ran classes at the nutrition center. At home she liked to garden.
Left to carry on her legacy is her two sons, Mark (Angela) Heather and Billy (Teresa) Heather; grandchildren, Matt Heather, Aubrie Heather, Amber Hopper, and Rusty Foley; and great grandchildren, Sierra, Tristan, Emma, and Molly.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
In keeping with her wishes, she was cremated.
