Beckie Lightfoot

Beckie Irene (Simmons Hildreth) Lightfoot was born on December 31, 1957, to the late William and Patricia Simmons. She passed away unexpectedly on March 30, 2020.

Beckie was a nurse for over 40 years with a heart for everyone. Even after officially retiring from the nursing profession, she still remained a personal nurse and caregiver to numerous individuals.

Beckie’s fondest memories were those spent with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family. Her family brought her immense joy throughout her entire life.

Along with her husband, John, Beckie is survived by her children, Yalonda Simmons (Jason Kunze) of Marshall, MO, and Harold Hildreth (Katie) of Hallsville, MO; grandchildren, Brianna Oswalt (Josh), Kyler Huff, Jacob Huff, and Charlie and Calli Hildreth; great-grandchildren, Alizibeth and Jaxson Oswalt; siblings, Joe (Viola) Simmons, Garry Simmons, Richard (April) Simmons, Charlie (Kelly) Simmons, Danny (Tracy) Simmons, and Shelia (Mike) Letchworth. Beckie is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who all held a special place in her heart.

Beckie was preceded in death by her parents; and a nephew, Charlie E. Simmons.

A private graveside service was held for immediate family.
