Anthony "Andy" Leon James

Anthony "Andy" Leon James 69, of Gravois Mills, passed away, Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at his home.

Andy was born on October 2, 1956, in Versailles, MO, a son of Melvin and Mary (Sidebottom) James. On July 7, 1979, in Gravois Mills he married Nancy (Willers) James who survives of the home.

Andy spent over 40 years working at Fasco in Eldon, he spent some time working with the company in Mexico and he later continued his career at Regal Rexnord in Lincoln.

Outside of his career, Andy found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, like spending time with his family. Andy was passionate about automobiles and could often be found attending car shows, admiring the craftsmanship and history behind each vehicle. He also had a special interest in racing and building 1:24 scale RC cars.

Survivors include his wife Nancy of 46 years; and one daughter, Jessica Smith of California.

Andy was preceded in death by both of his parents and one brother, Michael James.

A celebration of life service will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026 at the Timber Ridge Winery (5900 Fern Ridge Ln. Stover, MO. 65078). Arrangements are in the care of Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Stover.
