Annette Gail Bommel

Annette Gail Bommel, age 44, of McGirk, died Thursday, February 28, 2008, at the California Care Center.
She was born July 25, 1963, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Leroy and Linda Harbison Whittle, her parents survive in Russellville. She married Tim Bommel on January 12, 1985, at the Capital City Christian Church in Jefferson City. Tim survives at their home.
She was a 1981 graduate of Jefferson City High School, where she played softball and was on the track team. In 1985 she graduated from Williams Woods College in Fulton.
Annette was a homemaker, busy raising her children. She taught at St. George Catholic School in Linn, before devoting her time to her own family.
Annette enjoyed gardening, sewing, singing and caring for her animals. She played rec. league softball with her husband. However, her greatest enjoyment came from being with her family.
She is also survived by eight children, Katharine Long and husband Joseph of Branson; Derek, Jonathan, Anna, Timothy, Benjamin, Lydia and Rebekah Bommel all of the home; three brothers, Dennis Whittle and wife Ann of Eugene; Aaron Whittle and wife Linda of Holts Summit and Micah Whittle of Henley, one sister, Sandra Ridings of Jefferson City; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 4, at the Capital West Christian Church on Fairgrounds Road in Jefferson City with Rev. Gary Baker and Larry Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery near Eugene.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Monday, March 3, at the church. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the Stained Glass Theater or the Open Arms Pregnancy Resource Center, both in Jefferson City. Arrangements by Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Russellville.
