Anna (Stegner) Adler

Anna Adler entered her Heavenly Home on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. She was born Anna Mamie Stegner, the twin daughter of Randolph J. and Katherine Stegner, who preceded her in death. She grew up outside of Boonville, MO on a farm with her twin brother Charles. They've remained close friends throughout their whole lives.

She was married to Earl K Cary for 22 years right after high school. After they were divorced, she stayed civil to be a big part of their children’s’ lives.

On February 16, 1985, she was happily married to the love of her life, Bob Adler. They were married 22 years before he preceded her in death. Anna had two children, Mark (Cammie) Cary of Boonville, MO and Brenda (John) Matchett of Fortuna, MO; two stepsons, Andy Adler, who preceded her in death, and Barry (Dawn) Adler of Brookfield, MO.

She treasured her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Steven (April) Cary (Adelyn & Marcus) of Liberty, MO, Ashley (Matt) Coons (Ava, Matthew & Lucas) of Sedalia, MO, Mason Cary of Boonville, MO, Jeremiah (Tiffanie) Matchett (Carter & Alana. Alana preceded her in death) of Fulton, MO.

Her family was one of her greatest joys. She also had a deep love for her pets and making sure they were taken care of.

Anna was kind, compassionate, generous, and devoted to her family. She was a Christian woman with a strong faith.

We celebrate the 81 years we were blessed to have her with us. She leaves a legacy that will last far beyond our lifetimes. We will miss her every day, but we believe she is happy and at peace in the presence of our Lord. We take comfort in this. With that being said, grief is not a weakness. It's not a lack of faith, it's a passage. Not a place to stay. Grief is the price of loving someone deeply.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 19, 2022, at the First Assembly of God, 555 US-50, Tipton, MO 65081.

Memorial contributions are suggested to First Assembly of God, Tipton.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home, Tipton, MO.
