Ann “Theresa” Connelly, age 92, of Versailles died Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the Golden Age Living Center.
She was born October 4, 1931, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Jack and Antoinette Abrams.
On June 30, 1951, she was united in marriage to James “Red” Connelly.
In 1959, they moved to Iowa City, Iowa, where she was a homemaker and did volunteer work for the hospital.
After her husband retired from Proctor and Gamble, they moved to the lake, then a farm in Versailles.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathie Blomberg (Bill); son, Tim Connelly (Terri); four grandsons, Jamie and Jesse Blomberg and Josh and Austin Connelly; five great grandchildren, Kalliope, Penelope, Judah, and Aria, and Bradley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse, and her sister.
In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no service.
