Anita Lucille Briscoe

Anita Lucille Briscoe, 82, formerly of Tipton, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, MO.

She was born November 7, 1938 in Harrisburg a daughter of H.B. Richardson and Lucille Duncan.

Anita was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, reading, working crossword puzzles and word searches. Her greatest joy was getting to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include five children, Mark Johnson (Diane) of Iowa, Wade Johnson (Lori) of Virginia, Dave Johnson (Laurie) of Iowa, Traci Mortenson (David) of Gravois Mills, MO, Joseph Briscoe (Sara) of Vienna, MO; two brothers, Dick Richardson (Rachael), Frank Richardson (Peggy), nine grandchildren, Sidney Mortenson (fiancé, Colin Cosby), Cole Mortenson (Maddee), Dillon Briscoe (Taylor), Paige Briscoe (fiancé, Dylan Parmley), KarLeigh Briscoe, Ashely Johnson, Cameron Johnson, Kylee Johnson, Ashley White and three great-grandchildren, Oakley Briscoe, Daniella Luna and Nathan White.

In addition to both of her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Patty Carpenter and one brother, Jimmy Steelwell.

There are no services planned for Anita at this time.

Arrangements are in the care of Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Tipton.
