Allen "Dutch" Schultz

Versailles resident, Allen “Dutch” Schultz, age 76, passed away early Sunday morning, September 20, 2020, at the SSM St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City.

Dutch was born January 22, 1944 in Kansas City, to Allen Sr. and Minnie Shelton Schultz.

He worked most of his life as a maintenance man, retiring from Gerbes.

On October 10, 1992 Dutch was united in marriage to Brenda Knight at the Versailles Christian Church,

After retirement, Dutch did custodian work for the Westminster-Presbyterian Church.

He was an excellent cook and really enjoyed singing and playing country music on his guitar.

Dutch is survived by his wife, Brenda of the home; a sister, Betty Krohne of Kansas City, along with nieces and nephews and many friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Grover “Butch” Schultz and a sister, Bonnie Dawson.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Friday, September 25, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Versailles with Graveside services immediately following in the Versailles Cemetery.

As per the Morgan County Health Department, masks are requested and Social distancing will be observed.
