Larry Adcox, age 68, of Florence passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 at the Golden Age Living Center in Stover.
It was on the 3rd day of October in 1954 that Lewis and Virginia Adcox welcomed their son, Larry Raymond, into their home in Kansas City, Kansas.
He spent the last thirty years of his life married to Libby Milford, who preceded him in death on December 12, 2022.
He was an over the road truck driver for multiple companies throughout the years. He and Libby also ran an appliance repair and resale store, L&L Used Appliances in Kansas.
Never one to sit still, when Larry wasn't working, he would work on cars and do home repairs. He also liked to cook, fish, and animals. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family and his dog, Harry. His daughter always held his heart, and, in his eyes, she could do no wrong.
Left to carry on his legacy is his daughter, Rachel Chance and her husband Jeff of Florence, along with other relatives and friends.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Patricia "Patty" Pickle.
In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated. No services are planned at this time.
