Archie Ray Thurman

Archie Ray Thurman, age 79, of Pilot Grove, MO, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Katy Manor in Pilot Grove.

Archie was born July 6, 1944, in Boonville, MO, a son of Archie “Durwood” and Bessie (Neal) Thurman. He married Doris ‘Elaine” Bader on December 3, 1971 in Pilot Grove.

Archie graduated from Bunceton High School in 1962. He worked as a concrete finisher and also at Nordyne. He enjoyed spending time on the Lamine River camping and fishing with his family. He was an avid pool player.

Survivors include his daughter, Verinda Rieves, granddaughters Devyn and Erika Rieves, his sister, Nancy Haas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Elaine, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Thomas, brothers Larry, Tommy, Dennis and Donnie.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pilot Grove.

Arrangements are under the direction of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home, Pilot Grove.
